As part of activities to promote World Aids Day, the United Nations Information centre (UNIC) Panama City, in partnership with the UNAIDS national office and the non-governmental organization Aids for Aids, coordinated a fair with the theme "How Much Do You Know About HIV/AIDS?". The fair was held on 30 November on UNIC premises. 5 000 t-shirts, posters, bags and leaflets were produced. More than 1 000 articles and leaflets were distributed among visitors, UN local and international staff and their family members.

On 28 November, United Nations Information Centre (UNIC) Tripoli organized a press conference to launch the Human Development Report 2007-2008. The UN Resident Coordinator briefed the journalists about the report. The program was broadcast on national TV three times during peak hours. A number of newspapers reported the event.
November 23, 2007
On 23 and 24 November, the United Nations Information Centre (UNIC) in Harare visited students in six primary schools in the Midlands province of Gweru, about 300 kilometers south of Harare. The outreach targeted pupils in grades 5 and 6, aged ten and eleven years. In these grades the curriculum introduces information about the United Nations in greater detail. In the seventh grade, the students sit for an examination where the United Nations is one of the topics.

On 20 November United Nations Information Centre (UNIC) Antananarivo, together with the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry and the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO), organized the celebration of Africa Industrialization Day. The theme of this day was "Technology and innovation at the industry's service: investing in the human capital is investing in the future."
The events included film screenings, debates and a Malagasy art exhibition. In addition, secondary school students had the opportunity to visit companies.
