Women chemists at the UNIC
Women chemists from Paraguay joined colleagues around the world in a video conference to celebrate a "Chemistry moment" and open the calendar of events for the International Year of Chemistry. The videoconference was held on 18 January at the UN Information Centre (UNIC) Asuncion.
The date coincided with the 100 anniversary of the Nobel Prize awarded to Polish-French scientist Marie Curie.
