UNIC Manama’s library is a valuable source of information on the work of the United Nations through reports, publications, documents, newsletters, pamphlets, posters, books, audio/video tapes and CDs. It contains various publications and reports of the UN and its specialized agencies. The library meets the information needs and requests of governmental institutions, NGOs, educational institutions, research centres, individual researchers, journalists, academia, students as well as the general public.
The library is open from 08:30 hrs to 16:00 hrs, Sunday to Thursday, to students, researchers, journalists, diplomats, government officials, NGOs and all other visitors interested in a wide range of reference material on all aspects of the UN system.
